The Sfera Group is a family run South Australian Business at the forefront of hospitality & food services employing around 100 South Australians annually for the last 40 years.
The flagship of the Sfera brand is Sfera’s Park Suites & Convention Centre located on the picturesque civic park in north eastern Adelaide. Sfera’s Park Suites & Convention Centre is a multipurpose newly renovated venue offering 4 unique state of the art function and event rooms catering for from 20-450 people, 8 breakout areas, Boca Chica Function Space, Paradiso Restaurant & Bar and accommodation with 22 spa suites.
Sfera’s is Adelaide’s leading venue for wedding receptions, wedding ceremonies, birthdays, corporate events, conferences, meetings and events of all types and is currently Adelaide’s most flexible event space.
Our History
Sfera’s on the Park opened in 1997 and was an extremely successful venture by the Sfera family particularly in a very competitive wedding market. In 2002 a proposal was made by the Groups General manager, Michael Sfera to renovate the heritage listed Modbury School House building into an Italian restaurant serving exquisite meals in a fine dining setting. In 2007 Michael announced the plans for the construction a large two storey extension.
This led to the opening of Sfera’s Park Suites and Convention Centre in 2008, to capture the attention of the Corporate,Conference and Events market whilst also continuing to build on the success of their Wedding, Functions and general events business. Featuring a grand lobby with large glass atrium, and feature marble staircase with marble flooring not only makes for an impressive entry for guests, but is also the perfect area for pre function events. The main Starlight Ballroom features in-house audio visual facilities and the ability to adjust the room size to cater for large and multiple small functions. These renovations also saw the construction of 22 deluxe spa accommodation suites located on Level 1.
Recent refurbishments include renovations of our Accommodation level, Studio, Marquee and Starlight Ballrooms and Paradiso Restaurant and Bar. Audio visual upgrades throughout the venue and the recent addition of 1000mbps asynchronous high speed internet have ensured Sfera’s continues to be the perfect leading destination for Conferences, Weddings and Events in the Northern Area.
